Our manifesto

To provide an alternative plumbing service that takes the stress out of plumbing problems through an honest, reliable, professional and dedicated approach, which both meets and exceeds our customer’s expectations.

That was written when the business started and it has not needed changing. Most people do not call a plumber because they want a plumber. They call because something has gone wrong, usually at a bad time, and they want to know three things: what is wrong, what it will cost, and when it will be fixed.

By engaging with our customer base we continually strive to achieve the ideal balance between the cost and quality of our services. We go to great lengths to broaden the skill set of our team, which is why we can handle a job end to end rather than coordinating three different trades to get one thing done.

What we are good at

Maintenance plumbing, drainage, jetting, machine excavation, CCTV surveying, roofing, renovations and backflow prevention. The common thread is that these all need diagnosing before they need fixing, and diagnosing is where most of the value sits.

Because we carry CCTV and jetting equipment ourselves, we are not waiting on anyone to tell us what is happening inside a drain. That matters when a landlord and a tenant are arguing about who pays, and it matters when a blockage keeps coming back.

Goanna is run by Jarred, who you can still get on the phone. Maintaining a happy crew by offering a balanced work life ratio matters to us, so the team is not a rotating cast of subcontractors. The people who turn up are the people who work here, and they are the ones our customers name in reviews.
